Hello You ~Craftin Desert Divas~

Oh gosh, I hope you like this card share today! I shared yesterday...and just a lot this week due to our November Release Week at CDD! Good stuff all week long. Today we are sharing for a DARLING new set called Hello You. Actually, you can find the entire new release here! Check it out!
This card idea was my very first thought when I first saw this. To have this little gift sitting on some Christmas gifts. I so gotta make this again but do a birthday version! I used the matching single bow from Sweet Season and then drew the rest of the gifts and ribbon. Coloring was done with Spectrum Noir alcohol makers. Additions were done with a white and glitter gel pen. And just for something a tiny bit different, I clustered the snow as if it were falling from the left corner into the bottom right of the card.

Here are the sets I used...

Oh So Very ~Craftin Desert Divas~

Oh So Very

We have the best new script font stamp set at CDD! Beyond thrilled with it and can't wait to use it over and over. I used the new set to mix and match my very own sentiment!

I colored this sweet little card with colored pencils and added a drop shadow to all the stamping. Pretty thrilled at this card (this is one that I wish I had stamped multiples of). Definitely takes time to color but had I stamped a few copies, I could of colored at different times. Oh well. Maybe I'll remake another time?

Hope you are enjoying our November Release week at CDD! Lots of projects to share all week long...join us

Come back tomorrow...you'll LOVE tomorrow stamp set! Promise!

Oh Nuts, Get Well Wishes ~Craftin Desert Divas~

Oh Nuts! Get Well Wishes!
Hiya! Oh my, I sure do hope you all had the most amazing Thanksgiving. I do want to acknowledge that it's not always the easiest of holidays. I also know that some are dealing with enormous lost at this time and my heart goes out to them and to others that are hurting during this season. My prayers are with you as I'm not ignorant that this isn't just another happy holiday for all of us.
My card today is for CDD and our #CDDMONTHLY Social Media Mood Board Challenge. A mouth full but it's easy to play. Create a project inspired by our photo, share it somewhere on social media with our hashtag and there ya go...goodies to be won monthly just for sharing. Sweet! Don't forget to also share on the CDD gallery over on FB
Here's our warm and cozy inspiration collage.
I thought this was gentle, warm and perfect for a pick me up for someone feeling a little yucky. I used white and browns and colored these little cuties with colored pencils. I used the smallest circle die to create these panels which were cut from the base, and then their own layer as well which I popped.

I used a few CDD goodies...

Another Die Cut Background Card ~Craftin Desert Divas~

Another Die Cut Background Card
Merry & Bright

I am sharing with you today here and over at Craftin Desert Divas! I am so pleased to share this bright and happy winter card with you! Honestly think this is a card I could make over and over again. Too cute!
I made the main focus of this card the new Winter Wonderland dies. By creating a tone on tone background, as well as the multi colored circle panel. Which I layered some vellum over to soften it slightly.

I added this sweet little fox stamped image along with a sentiment from Santa's Helpers. Colored with Spectrum Noir markers. The sentiment was embossed and added to a hand trimmed banner.

If you've been around CDD or my blog, maybe you have recently seen my addiction to playing with this background? If not, you can find similar projects here and here. Check them out!

Here are the products I used today.

Die Cut Background Layout ~Craftin Desert Divas~

Snow Much Fun

I created a scrapbook page! What? Yes, yes I did! For Craftin Desert Divas. My first scrap page in, well awhile. So sad. But I missed it and this was a great start back! And believe it or not, most of the main elements are all from one of our newest released dies, Winter Wonderland! Pretty cool to pull an entire layout together pretty much only using a single die set. Wood embellishments not included, obviously.

You can see I created a textured background by die cutting the images and gluing them flat onto the background using the same color paper.  I would highly recommend that you choose your photos and design first. That way you can glue down the die cut images around the empty space. It was a considerable job to do this, but having done it for areas that would end up covered would have been a huge waste of time! This step will save you, believe me!

And of course, these white flowers were created with the die as well!
I recently created this card for our #CDDMONTHLY Social Media Mood Board Challenge that also features another design using this same die background. I think it's the next post here on my blog...so you can keep scrolling if you've not seen it!

Die Cut Background Holiday Card ~Craftin Desert Divas~

I'll admit to a new obsession. This background! OMG, how I love it! So with that being said, you'll see it again (and again) coming up. Thanks to Craftin Desert Divas for creating this crazy amazing new Winter Wonderland die!

So it's #CDDMONTHLY time! Our Social Media Mood Board Challenge! Create a project inspired by the mood board, use something from CDD and post into any media outlet with our hashtag. We've got monthly prizes and it's a great way to get your awesome creations seen!

  Oh...that is a sexy background...

Loving this card! I kept it monotone with the browns and golds but I love how all the details play off each other. Classy. I also like that this could easily be given to a guy as well, not too feminine.

Here are the CDD links to the products used...some of my FAVS, I tell you!

My FIRST Planner Project ~Craftin Desert Divas~

Halloween 2016 Planner Spread

So I'm kinda excited to being sharing my first ever planner page spread with you all! I used, of course, some Craftin Desert Divas goodies to create this. And seriously, I had one heck of a mess because I used so many bits and pieces of a ton of CDD stamp sets!

This actually took forever. Coloring and fussy cutting the pumpkins. Plus, it just being my first time. I have heard it said that these really do take time to put together and its true! But super fun!

Here's a close up of some of the details.

Here are the CDD products used
