Today is a sad day as it marks my last day as Guest Designer for Pile It On. It was such a pleasure this month and I feel like I learned so much about how to do challenges. So it was a pleasure all around and especially for the fun of visiting so many challenge sites and seeing all the great DT work!
So again this project was challenge specific for the sites. After searching site after site I compiled a list, made a sketch and started putting this together. Anything but a card, my extra large tag comes in around 4 x 5.5
The great image is from Squigglefly, PIO's sponsor! Thank you! And the challenge this week at PIO...Your the sprinkle to my life! Using sprinkles on cupcake, ice cream, etc. Cuteness!
And I will go ahead and let you see the rest of the crafty info by reading the challenges and seeing my details there....
After reading the comment from Stephanie thought I would come and edit and explain further...
The image is pen colored. I LOVE marshmallow and ice cream so I picked white instead of going with the chocolate sauce! LOL! And that is covered with Glossy Accents. The sprinkles on the image have both glitter pen and teeny dots of Stickles. The glass was water colored with Distress Inks. Sorry I didn't come and leave the details earlier...
PIO- Your the sprinkle to my life!
Creative Card Crew- anything goes
The Paper Shelter- anything goes
Tuesday Throwdown- stripes (background paper and flower)
Theres Magic in the Air- make your own flowers
Paper Play- blooms and blossoms
Crazy Challenge- 1, 2, 3 recipe (3 DP's, 2 flower layers (paper, felt) and 1 image)
All That Scraps- felt
Creative Belli Blog- tool shed (die cut machine, single die and embossing tools)
Inky Impressions- shine on (glitter pen, glossy accents and Stickles)
Sweetness! Thanks again for coming by and also for all the DT members at all the awesome challenge sites for coming by and leaving such kind comments!
Craft on sisters!!!! LOL!!!!!

Oh Boy, Oh Joy
Hello my friends! Today I have a special project, a sweet one because let's face it, there is nothing like a new baby. And though we are almost a month exactly away from Cody's second birthday, these days will be memories I'll hold forever.
My thoughts are getting away from me...this one is for Stuck on U Sketches! Remember, you still have a chance to scrap and win our blog candy for the month by using the sketch as well, even if you missed last time. So scrap and win, hopefully! LOL! Thanks again to Ness for graciously sharing with our blog readers.
Not like you can but the photo of Cody and I took me forever to do. Edited in Photoshop to erase the bad background. It didn't turn out perfect but will certainly do and was certainly better then the weird red whatever was behind me. LOL!
This great designer paper comes from Sassafras Lass, Bungle Jungle. I did some more sewing, awful terrible sewing..would someone please come over and teach me to sew a straight line? And a few buttons for good measure! (haha, kinda cute "sewing" related joke!)
And a close up of the embossing on my title. Amazing how far some embossing can go! Oh I just spotted this, and my stamping that I put in the middle of the printed hippo! Great way to add in the date!
Pretty simple, pretty cute! LOL! I just wanted to say that after sitting here really looking at this...yeah, looks nothing like the sketch. But you've be surprised that all the placements of things were inspired by the sketch. I think it may be hard to see but wanted to explain myself. LOL!
Ok, take care folks and I really look forward to seeing what you all do with the sketch and thanks again to all of last week's incredible participants!

Good morning! Good morning! Its been some time since I joined in with the Papertrey Ink blog hop and I am happy to do so again!
May challenge~ flowers
With such an open challenge I thought I would go for something wedding since I am going to one this summer. I also knew I had this beautiful dress image that I've never stamped and really wanted to use it and find a way to accent the beautiful whimsical blooms on it. Stamp is by Hampton Arts (a lot of unmounted stamps I got from Ebay years ago).
And of course, what PTI products...the cream card stock, embossed heart background stamp and text style stamp in dress background and on handmade flowers.
I started the whole process with die cutting the layered pieces. I first stamped and embossed the dress then stamped over that with the heart background stamp in Champagne Versamark.
Then on another piece of red paper, stamped the text style, then stamped and embossed the dress again, cut and popped that over the first.
And lastly my rolled flowers. They are simple but I wanted something that mimicked the blooms in the dress and I thought these perfect! Lastly I stamped with chocolate brown PTI ink over the blooms for one last stamping detail.
Tried to keep this short for everyone...thanks for coming by and I can't wait to try and visit as many of you hoppers as I can!

Hey guys...this is my tutorial post day for Scrap with V. Hope you like....
I started with a die cut door. You can make something yourself and cut "window's out but really this will be so much easier with some kind of electronic die cut machine so it does the work for you. This photo shows the card base (behind) the front panel with all the detail cuts and also the other layers (green).
And then adhered the solid piece which will be flat onto the card base, but was easier to line up by putting it here instead of on the card base.
And a dimensional view of the 2 panels put together.
I wanted to add something special to this so I will add a wreathe. Start with cutting a circle to fit the size you would like. Then punch a ton of leaves in at least 3 to 5 colors. The more variation, the better it looks. Run a circle of glue, a small line at a time and start laying the branches together.
And here is the finished card. I added a bow to the top to "hold" the wreathe on the door and added a hand made sign.
And a close up of the wreathe. I used a small piece of twine and cut 2 pieces. One adhered to the inside panel and one adhered to the wreathe itself. That and it looks more dimensional. Then I layered pearls (or eggs) into the nest, 2 large against the back panel and a smaller sitting on top. Last small detail is adding some Glossy Accents or clear dimensional glue to the door knob.
This ended up such a warm and inviting card, perfect to give my sister when she moves into her new home! If it ever happens, they are trying to buy a short sale and its been nothing but problems so far. But still keeping my fingers crossed for her and her family!

Happy Sunday all! Today is another Guest Designer day for me at Pile It On and the challenge this week...your beary best friend, use a bear somewhere on your project. I actually started working something out to use the teddy bear for the Christmas cart but after looking at papers and deciding what to do for the challenges I wanted to follow..I decided to draw my own image.
I drew something keeping in mind a couple challenges...particularly "toy box treasures" and "create a scene" and "critters".
My papers are from Echo Park, Life is Good. And the green and pink card stock from my stash. All chosen for the color challenges I am following, along with the choices of polka dot and stripe papers. Also my card design came from a challenge as well to use rectangle and triangles.
Here is a close up for my little drawing. Cut with Nesties, layered and with lots of glitter for the "sparkle" challenge. I rimmed the pink circle layer with Stickles, the brads (for brad challenge) and flower centers.

Hey all! I have something special to share...man oh man is this a fun one!
I made this special little card for my sister Katie for her...yep, you guessed it, for her 21st birthday. I asked her to keep it up in her room so I could come visit it! LMBO!
Come on...could she be any cooler? Nah! This sweet sister comes from Rock Princess, a cart I wasn't sure I needed but really am diggin' on it after using it! The crossbones and cupcake and font are all from that cart, love that heart font!
The embossing really turned this up a notch! The crossbones embossed with a CB spider web, the 21 with Seeing Spots and the cupcake top with a TH music note. I crimped the cupcake wrapper with a crimping tool.
The entire card is obviously designed on the Gypsy. I welded a base shape and everything else attached...took some doing but turned out great!
Here are a few challenges to combine this with...
Bitten by the Bug 2 ~sunglasses (how cool is she? really!)
Terrific Tuesday ~Once Upon a Princess (background shape..my favorite cart for
shapes, marque like, etc.)
Wacky Wednesday~ anything goes
Penny's Papercrafting ~anything goes
Paper Cupcakes ~embossing
Nerdy Victorious Scrapbookers~ collage inspiration (I just wanted to do a little shout out that I've always wanted to join in here and I am happy that I am able to do so now! Also hope its okay that its a card not a scrappy page...hope so!) But I really liked the collage and feel and colors and for sure was inspired by it! Thanks!
Edited to add..there was no challenge for NVS but apparently I never saw that! LOL!
Thanks for having me!!!! Leah

Wow, what a weekend! So...here I am for time #3 (sick of me yet?). Hopefully not because today is another Guest Designer spot for May for Pile It On. Each time I am so pleased to be a small part of that wonderful blog!
PIO challenge...boys and girls come out to play!
So in combining challenges and especially with the challenge for PIO, I know I wanted to do something to bring my girlfriend when I met her new baby girl, which I was pleased to have done on friday. She is so beautiful! You'll find below all the challenges, some sadly got deleted in the blogging fiasco and I just couldn't remember them all...argh...but onto the card...
My tall, shaped card was cute using a shape from Once Upon a Princess (my fav cart for such shapes) and the children's die from A Child's Year. I popped twice only the heads on the card but it gives it a cool feel while keeping the bottom of the card flush. Here is also a great shot of the embossing with clear powder and a heart stamp by Papertrey Ink (as is pink and yellow paper).
And lastly my computer generated sentiment, layered with classic scallops by Nesties. And also some sweet butterflies to go with a punch challenge as well!
And those challenges are for....
Pile It On....one for the girls and boys
Simon Says Stamp anything goes
The Crazy Challenge anything goes
Crafty Creations anything goes
Whimsical Wednesday shaped card
Paper Play Time tall card
Tuesday Throwdown die cuts
The Kraft Journal buttons and bows
My Time to Craft scallops (inside sentiment, Nesties)

Your Next Stamp pop it up
The Color Throwdown saffron, rose red and aqua
Southern Girls all things girly (well this card is for a new baby girl!!!!)
Paper Play Challenges show us your style (did something bright and happy!!!!)
and there was a challenge for something baby but I can't find it now...ahhh

Okay wow, so it looks like all my weekend posts got deleted by blogger. Awesome.
So let me just apologize but I don't have it in me to do some much text all over again so I'll keep this simple. Plus I had to post earlier today...so please take a look at my Stuck on U Sketches post, that was so generously sponsored by Scrap with V.
But now, this sketch is for Scrap with V. Yay! I went simple enough with this as the printed papers are so strong.
Glitter die cuts are by K and Company and the purse a dollar store find.
And a sweet close up of my little girl from the past Fall with her first big hair cut!
And just a little close up of the layering I did for the border.
Again, again, again my apologies for NOT realizing this all was deleted and being so late this weekend with posts. Do take a chance to pop around and look and I'll see you tomorrow with my Guest Designer post for Pile It On. See you soon....
Wow so this blogger thing is really killing me...I had NO idea that meant that text was deleted from accounts....so when I thought this was going to post....it didn't and all my text is gone. So sorry this is late. I also had to go back and edit on the Stuck on U Sketches post this morning as well. Argh! So here we go...
We have a great sketch today, made by our very own Ness and also blog candy provided by Ness' store Scrap with V. You can find all those details at SOUS.
I struggled with this because of the darling background paper. Cute as it is, I had a heck of a time liking anything I put with it. And in the end, though it's a cute enough page, I can't stand it! LOL! I am sure you all know how that goes...you just struggle with something and then that's all you can see.
I used such a variation of carts that I don't recall half of them. Sorry. And the papers are pretty much a mix of scrap drawer finds. The photos however are so amazing to me that I am pretty sure someday I'll re-scrap these. Never done that before but these are good enough to scrap again. My sweet lil blondies!!!!
Just want to say that I feel for the rest of you out there...I just know I'm not the only one with blog post issues and a husband who doesn't get why I'm all panicked. Not a nice way to start saturday morning but it is what it is...

An Apple a Day...
I am SO thrilled to have been asked to Guest Design for Pile It On for the month of May! Thank you so much Dalis! For those of you that are not familiar, Pile It On is a challenge blog that centers around combining challenges. They will host a challenge themselves and then it is your job to do the combining. But they help you there as well with an extensive list of challenge blogs. It's the only place I go to have a look around! =)
So this weeks challenge (and come visit me each sunday this month for more challenges and projects) is a funny sentiment! And the sponsor is Heart Song Designs. Now I didn't use there images for this but still picked a sentiment that I personally found amusing! LOL! Perfect for the challenges and great to give to my son's teacher as a thank you at the end of this school year.
My great Cricut cut comes from Country Life. Excuse my beyond awful sewing...I know, it's bad. But I am beyond a beginner! I have a mix of card stock from my stash but the whites are from Basic Grey Basics line. The leaf was stamped (stamp Friendship Jars by Papertrey Ink). And my blooms were a gift from my girlfriend, thanks Nanne!
My sentiment computer generated and only generated after doing some serious kicking around of title ideas with a fellow crafter friend of mine! LOL! That cute caterpillar (yeah not a worm) is from Walk in my Garden. My last detail and the hardest to see is the inking I did with black distress ink. IRL it really helps the edges stand out and brings more attention to the cuts I've done!
And the challenges I'll be entering this in~
Bitten By The Bug 2 (apple core but I used apples from Country Life)
Fantabulous Cricut (using 3 flowers on your project)
A Spoon Full of Sugar (using white and another single color)
My Time to Craft (red and white)
The Paper Variety (inking, misting..etc)Getting Cricky (something with the theme "sew")
Thanks for coming by and see you soon!!!! Leah
p.s. if anyone was looking for me I so apologize for having posted this late!!!

Party~ Like No One is Watching!
Hello Hello! Today is the first Whimsical Wednesday challenge of the month and it's a scrappy one! A birthday layout with embossing! Coolness! And you don't get much more birthday then this 5 year old cake eating crazy! LOL! I just arranged and cropped the sizes down in Photoshop
My fun, funky journaling spot...the great glitter sprinkle paper embossed with a most fav folder! I added the extra hearts cut out from the title, punched the heart from coordinating paper and added the cupcake puffy sticker shared from none other than the birthday girl! Thanks for sharing Pinky!
Who knew that the Hannah Montana cart would have the best font? Check it out if you haven't! My heart font was welded together using the Gypsy and my banner hand cut and written. The paper cupcakes fussy cut from the stack (a store brand paper line at Hobby Lobby), puffy stickers from WM! $1 baby!
I added some Glossy Accents and Stickles and teeny tiny confetti for added detail.
Thanks mucho for looking and go see what the other gals did! Surely some fun to be seen!

BIG birthday shout out to Katie, my youngest sis is 21 today!
Can't wait to spend the day at a ball game with my sisters...and no kids!
I'll be back with photos! =)
Okay geez, when it rains it pours! I may have some quiet days but if you grab a cup of tea and stay awhile, you'll see I've posted a ton the last week or so...but for today I have a whopping 3 layouts to share!!!!
The first 2 will be available in kit form at the wonderful Scrap with V store! The kit this time is full of great products from Bo Bunny!
Love the colors and how fun this kit was...certainly a great one!
And the second page. I really like both of these layouts very much and its really because of the paper...great mix of Bo Bunny prints with some American Crafts solid card stock. Amazing chipboard pieces (that will take you well beyond just this kit, you'll have a ton left over to use again!)
The letter pieces are all glittery and ready to go but the flourishes are bare white, perfect for a little stamping. Those sweet tiny blue flower gems...part of the kit too!
And lastly...but certainly NOT least was this great project featuring Twiddleybitz chipboard! If you just so happen to have some, or you'd love to try this Aussie product...head to the Scrap with V store and get some...then play along because Ness has an AMAZING blog candy...you can check out the details here as well as see some incredible DT projects done with this incredible product!!! =)
I was SO excited to scrap these great photos of Scotti meeting some big time drivers at Monster Jam this past March!!!
My husband wasn't ready when Tom Meents all of sudden picked up Scotti by the shirt and hung him there! LOL! Some photo op! LOL!!!!!
I did some background masking in the background as well with TH masks.
And some details of the chipboard...I used a paint brush and embossing ink to get the silver powder just were I wanted it....not too hard really! I mixed a few TH embossing distress powders and then inked those as well...there is so much texture to these pieces that they turned out beyond my expectations!!!
Thank you SO much for coming by...I know it was a lot to share and this past week was really super full of projects...what can I say, I'm a craftin' fool lately! LOL! See ya soon....
