Give Thanks Banner ~SOUS Die Cut Challenge Banner~

Give Thanks Banner

 Hello Hello and Happy Halloween!
I hope that everyone had a safe and fun night last night...lots of goodies and great memories! I know that I alone would celebrate every holiday just as an excuse for the photos! LOL!
We have a fabulous new Die Cut Challenge at Stuck on U Sketches...

This is simply is the longest I've ever taken making a project! Days of stamping, inking, putting together flowers, making the rosettes. OMGosh! But worth it in the end...I've never made anything like this so totally worth it!

The kraft background was stamped, then edges inked. The oranges were clear embossed with a woodgrain stamp. The rosettes all inked. Then the circle centers- four layers there! The canvas circle also stamped! I also generously sprayed everything with Perfect Pearls and Mr Huey sprayers.

Flowers, flowers, flowers...42 of them to be exact =) Here's a good picture of some of the stamping...

Recollections kraft
Walmart for the oranges
all papers for rosettes by My Minds Eye

Love To You ~My LAST Artful Delight DT Post!~

Love To You

Oh my, oh my! Today is my LAST post for my Artful Delight Design Team! I will certainly miss creating with these gals and the fantastic sketches by Debbie! Thanks so much for having me!

My last creation using the October scrapbook kit! I chose to keep all the blooms included in the kit to use in one layout! I used a die cut chevron background (to match the wood embellies) for a little more interest to the background and then added a few banner styled strips of paper for more color at the bottom of the page. One printed paper sheet included in the kit had these great leaves, so I cut a bunch and added them along with a few punches little branches to my flowers. I've accented a few things here and there with Distress Stickles (like the leaves and wooden chevron).

The photo is of one of my younger sister and her boyfriend...oh, change that! There's been a recent engagement...fiancĂ©! =)

Again! Thanks for Leanne and Debbie for having me design for them! Certainly a great treat!

Chocolate vs. Vanilla ~SOUS Sketch October 25~

Chocolate vs. Vanilla

 Hello Hello!
Anyone else have a crazy weekend coming up? Well, for me it's been a crazy week getting ready for the Halloween carnival. Lots of lots of goodies for the bake sale! Cookies, cakes and an autumn trail mix. I'll show that to you all this coming week when I have time to blog all that...

But for now, how about a layout! For the newest sketch to close out our October's my take on Nanne's sketch for Stuck on U Sketches

How about this awesome background? Need any reason to make sure you have software for your diecutting machines? Instead of buying background...make your own! I just chose this set of ice creams and made my own background! =)

Paper Studio Sugar and Spice (red, sprinkles, choco chip)
Crate Paper (hearts, colored stripes)
Die Cuttings~
Sil Store; ice creams set (for background and single cone) for free font for title

Okay a pretty short post for me but I got to get working!!!!!!!

Thank you to ALL the folks that have applied for our Design Team us a workout choosing teams! =)

This Is The Good Life ~Artful Delight~

This Is The Good Life

I am so excited to share this Fall inspired project using the amazing elements in the October scrapbook kit from Artful Delight! This thick burlap ribbon is way, way cool and pretty much can be used almost alone in a's that neat! =) But I went ahead and added a few more things! =) Like the chipboard and some stickers included in the kit!

I've been getting ready for the Halloween carnival at school this coming Sunday. Today started my tags for one of the treat bags and then got the cookie dough ready to make later this week. I have got to stay organized if I think I can get it all done this week! LOL!

And headed to church tonight for our weekly Bible Academy class.  A late night for the kids which always means a fussy Wednesday but worth it! =)

I added Crackle Accents to all the chippy leaves too!

Ok girls, a little Tuesday quickie from me! This is my second to LAST project for my term on the Artful Delight DT! Wow...

Fall Mini Album ~SOUS Die Cut Challenge Autumn~

Fall Mini Album

So pretty much there is SO much photos here that otherwise I'm not going to talk much...otherwise you are going to be here all day! But because this was such a huge project for me, I wanted to show off as much as I could with the photos. Luckily I sat one day and spent a few hours designing this and then some time later put this together. Normally I craft and want to get it done in one day but this project certainly did not come together in one day! =)

This is for our current Stuck on U Sketches Die Cut Challenge...Autumn Goodies, so anything Fall themed! =)

I sized this entire album so that I can take 4x6 photos and slide them directly into each pocket. So I would have no trimming to do or anything like that. I take so many photos each season that I thought this would save a lot of time to have them all in one special place!

I plan on adding some journaling here on the back...

My Minds Eye
and assorted kraft cardstock
all of pieces were used up from my stash! go me!
Die Cuts~
Silhouette Store: Miss Kate bat, moon, pumpkins and crow,
stars, branches, fence, leaves, spiders, hay stack, hay bale, cat silhouettes,
acorns, and rake.
(to name just a few, LMBO!)
Stamping and Ink~
Hero Arts woodgrain background stamp
Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Brushed Corduroy
Black Soot, Spiced Marmalade
burlap ribbon, twine hemp, Glossy Accents
yellow Stickles

 Thanks for taking a peek!

Quality Memories

Quality Memories

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! I just simply can not believe I am almost done with my wonderful term for Artful Delight...what a treat it was to be on their design team the last 6 months! And the fact that the 6 months is almost up is such a trip! Time fly's when your having fun! =) Thanks to Leanne and Debbie for having me!

I used a mix of papers to create some die cut fall leaves and this wonderful ledger paper all from the October scrapbook kit. Along with some embellies included in the kit like a page full of stickers and some great chipboard pieces and wood buttons. I added some twine from a previous kit as well.

I loved this title piece and took the time to hand cut it from the printed paper...totally worth the time!

I used the die cut shape as a mask and sprayed a shimmer mist behind these leaf framed shapes. A bit hard to see in this angle though I wanted to show off some of the shine. I've used multiple sprays to create a bit more fun for the background. Really love the vibe to this page and the fun photo of myself and my bestie's from a recent trip to the pumpkin patch! =)

Glad to get to share this! Have a wonderful week...see ya back on Friday!

Very Important Person ~SOUS October 11 Sketch~

Very Important Person

I'm happy to share with you all my newest layout for Stuck on U Sketches following one of my bestie's incredible sketches! Awesome as always Nanne!

I used a new American Crafts paper collection, or new to me! =) And some embellies to match from my stash! And a nice little mommy and daughter picture from this last school year. Goodness she's a sweetie! =)

Today was a crazy get the house cleaned up day with my inlaws coming over! Plus that and I pushed the cleaning off til they came and the weekend was pushed back. So my house really hasn't seen a good cleaning in 2 weeks and it needed it...I'm telling you, it's pretty much ready for a party over here...who's coming?

Hope you all have an awesome weekend as well!

These Traditions Are Blessed ~Artful Delight October Reveal~

These Traditions Are Blessed

I just love this photo of my two youngest sisters Katie and Amy's (the blondie) and her now fiancĂ© Garrett! They are newly engaged and I am so excited! Plus, I just found them their wedding site and they booked it! Woohoo! So excited!

More about the October release for the newest scrapbook and card kit! Check that out here! I used our newest sketch and loved the simplicity of the sketch and the way that allowed me to play with some of the chipboard pieces and wonderful sequin bling by Lawn Fawn!

The coloring here is much better! Funny how the color can distort...
I snuck in some twine and this burlap tag from a prior kit!

A super short post today but hope that's okay! Be sure to check out the kit this month...can't wait to play more!

Dream Magical Memories

I've been waiting and waiting to share this project and I can't believe it's finally time! Hurray!
