Do What You Like ~SOUS February 28 Sketch~

Do What You Love

So I expect you to be reading my product list below and because of that and my photo heavy post I will keep the rest of my text very short! Have fun checking out my photos for the current sketch at Stuck on U Sketches created by Nanne! Hope you like ladies!

I cut the red layer 6 times and glued those all together for dimension.

I had to share this photo because of how totally stunning the watercolor stamping turned out with these layered stamps. Gorgeous! These Papertrey Ink stamps come with 3 layers to create this effect. I stamped with Distress Ink and sprayed with water before stamping. Same effect for the leaf dies! =)

So instead of just popping my photo frame below I cut another 6 layers in red. I like the small pop of color along the side of the die! I think this could be cool used in different ways as well!

Now I warned you this was some reading! =) I think for those that don't craft, seeing this list would be shocking at how much we do for a page! LOL!

Thanks for stopping in friends! Later!

Under The Weather ~SOUS Die Cut Challenge Umbrella~

Under the Weather

 I love Friday!
Another Friday means another Stuck on U Sketches Challenge!
How about a Die Cut Challenge…umbrella…ella…ella…hey, hey! For you Rihanna fans =)
 Anyways! LOL!
I created this fun card utilizing the cut and print feature on the Silhouette Cameo. I had designed my card first and then realized things could go a little bit more quickly if I printed my background instead of cutting all those little clouds. I LOVE the fact that you can make custom pieces like that! I also thought ahead and made sure that the cloud would be sized correctly for my stamped sentiment. To also speed up the process, the person is also print and cut. Only the umbrella pieces were paper pieced and cut. Better photo below…also shows off the "wet" look to the umbrella using my finger to coat the umbrella with Stickles Rock Candy.

Crate Paper (umbrella)
white card stock (for printing)
Papertrey Ink Heart to Heart #6
Rock Candy Stickles
Vintage Photo Distress Ink

Also wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all that hopped along last weekend for the SOUS blog hop! Since it was mostly DT members that hopped and few other lovely ladies I pulled a DT member for my Silhouette Gift card…Nicolle! Shoot me an email and I'll get that to you!
Thanks for visiting and checking this out! Hope to do more like this in the future! As long as I can handle paying for printer ink! LOL!

Papertrey Ink 7th Anniversary Day 3

Big post day for me! =)
You'll find my Stuck on U Sketches layout here!
And my Guest Designer post for Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons here!

 Thanks for stopping by!

This is my (holy cow have I never had a harder challenge before) project to share in the festivities at Papertrey Ink for their 7th anniversary celebration. Day 3

Challenge was to pull 7 products in 7 minutes and complete in 17 minutes! The 17 minutes part was easy but the pulling products part was NOT! I may have cheated a bit and threw my first 2 (totally not this) projects away! Ack!

End result was something I love and could easily duplicate for holiday cards! Yay!

PTI cardstock, vellum
Rustic wreath stamp set (wreath and sentiment)
Versamark, white embossing powder and gems.
