I just can't get enough of how amazing it is to mask together a stamped scene! I love the ability to do that with this wonderful set from Craftin Desert Divas! The other thing to keep in mind, and yes, it seems obvious but remember how a stamp set changes based on how you color it. Stamp out a set of images and try coloring the same images with the same color scheme but use different mediums from your stash. Colored pencils, watercolor, markers, etc. Or stamp out the images and try different color schemes for each. There are unlimited results! If you click the links that take you to this stamp set at the CDD store, then you'll see a couple examples of other projects using this set and it will show you some options and how different they turn out!
I realize I am a broken record on certain things...just being aware of who I am. LOL.
The main focus of the card is obviously the stamping. But decided to add the sentiment on vellum and after doing so, trimmed down my card to also fit in a vellum layer between the kraft layers. A few die cut stars in vellum topped with tiny bling helped add just a little something extra.
I seem to go back and forth with coloring. Pencils, then back to Spectrum Noir markers. Then back again, with some watercoloring thrown in. I love that there are so many incredible options!
Also, if you are curious about the masking. Which was the means to put these separate stamps "together". The left image was stamped first, then masked, then engine and mask and lastly stamped the giraffe (which needed no mask). Sometimes I wonder the steps so thought I'd share mine today.
And here is a photo of the wonderful set!
