Happy Halloween Double Layout ~Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon~

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Oh my goodness! I'm so excited to share this double whopper with you! I very rarely do double page spreads and so this was an extra treat. Then include the fact it's been awhile since I've done a scrapbook page and I'm a happy girl! Using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon die cuts are always the perfect starting point for any paper crafting project....adore these images!

I think I can say for sure that I have a bit of a style at this point when creating layouts and it's to use the die images big and bold on a page! I love how little else a project needs when you do this! There is a bit going on but I think the simple color palette kids this from getting overwhelming.

I added lots of shimmer and shine, from spraying the background to the glitter behind the lite-up jack o' lanterns, to the Wink of Stella added here and there. Oh, and lots and lots of Glossy Accents!

I hope that you enjoy this project today! It was a labor of love! Not to mention the fact that I got to scrap these precious photos from a couple years ago. My youngest 2 and my best friends youngest 2! Great memories...this is why we scrap!
Ok, ready for the list of sets I've used images for? I think I'm in need of a nap after setting up this list! LOL! Check it out...

Craftin Desert Divas October Release Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to the CDD Stamp & Die Release Blog Hop.
All stamps & Dies are in the CDD Shop and now available for purchase.

I hope you just love the dies I've created just for CDD! These In Lines dies offer SO many options and there are unlimited ideas, as I'm sure you've been seeing all week! =)

A circle die set with a wreath! How great is that, plus we even snuck on a circle tab in the center with 2 cut out options! The largest circle will fit on a standard size card!

Here are the specials for this release:
**FREE MINI BANNER DIE to the first 60 orders (purchase must be $40 minimum before tax & shipping, one free banner per address) PLUS 1 BAG OF FREE SEQUINS on all orders placed on 10/23-10/25, no code necessary!! Ends 10/25 at 10pm MST. Just leave your choice of sequins in the comment section as you place your order. Stamps & Dies are made in the USA.

Well seeing how this is a blog hop, I couldn't just do one card, LOL! Plus, this was an easy enough card to reproduce and we always need just a few more holiday cards in our stash so I'm sure I'll be happy to have these.

These cards features the new angle die that is one of many dies in the new release In Line dies. The longer size of the dies allows you to cut bigger pieces or to cut short or long way on your card (like in my examples above). I did a little embossing with paste and a stencil for some background interest. And then of course, a bit of sentiment building from our new Tis the Season sentiments stamp set!

I added a few Doodlebug Sprinkles in matching shades to the star in the center of each ornament. Just another fun color pop on these simple cards.

Here is today's SVG freebie. Each stop along the way there will be a code letter that spells a word for the freebie code. You must comment and follow each blog in order to get the free file. The file will be available in the shop at craftindesertdivas.com just for that day. Just add it to your cart and enter the letters you collected at each stop for the special code word at checkout to receive your free file download.

**The code word and free file will be available that day ONLY so please be sure to visit the link.

Here are the dies that I designed for you all! Hope you love them as much as we all have!

Here are the specials for this release:

Ends 10/25 at 10pm MST. Just leave your choice of sequins in the comment section as you place your order. Stamps & Dies are made in the USA.

Here is the project I made for you guys! Something a little different and I knew I wanted to make something that was not holiday themed. I adore this darling image and this sentiment! This is from the new Chilly, stamp set! I also snuck in one of my fav little sentiments "thanks" from Farmers Market. Oh, and of course lots of Doodlebug Sprinkles

This ombre effect was one of my ideas behind creating the row of dots die in our new In Line die set. You could easily create an entire panel using this but I opted for the row of 3. Using our other die sets, I cut this polaroid shape. The fun part was the little window that was cut out, which is what I ended up using to make a small matching tag! Yay! Stretching the pieces from our projects!

Here is today's SVG freebie. Each stop along the way there will be a code letter that spells a word for the freebie code. You must comment and follow each blog in order to get the free file. Happy Fall One and All ~Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party~

Happy Fall One and All

Sharing today for Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party post! I had the best time creating this! Yes, I do believe all the trimming out of each little stamp image was worth it! A few of these have dies and those that do not, the shop does offer svg files however I usually prefer my images without the white border. So, fussing cutting it was!

Our CDD Challenge this time around is a color/photo inspiration...

Just so happens that I have an ancient 6x6 stack, I don't even recall the maker, but I have some sheets left of tone on tone leaves and the colors were seriously a perfect match to the inspiration photo. Yay! I also had fun using some CDD dies. The white frame is cut and inlaid (the white scallop die was cut from the 2 darker reds) and then I trimmed an inner panel out so that I could then set the yellow printed paper behind. You can click on photos to view them larger if seeing that may help.

I also had fun adding glitter pen details to the card, along with some white pen. Simple details but oh-so pretty. If you do not own a Jelly Roll glitter pen, I would highly suggest getting one. They are cheap and add beautiful detail!

I used just a few things from the shop to create this...LOL!
