With Sympathy ~Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party~

Hello friends! The theme for this Linky Party at Craftin Desert Divas is "Black & White With a Splash Of Color"! We would love to see all of your projects that fit this theme! So go ahead and craft it and link it up on the Craftin Desert Diva's Blog.

Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly Linky Party over
at the CDD blog. We hope you will share your projects with us! And don't forget
about  the prizes! Every Linky Party will have a winner and a Top 3!
The more times you link up...the more chances you have to win!!

Our Sponsors for this Linky Party are:

One 4"x 6" stamp set
One Digi Stamp of choice
$25 Gift Card (Regular Priced Items)
Okay my sweet stampers, here's what I created today. Not that I want to have this in my card stash, but I have nothing for sympathy. This simple color palette theme is what sparked the idea to make this into a sympathy card. Using a CDD sentiment stamp and lots of CDD dies!

We all know we all make crafty mistakes, right? I've got to admit, though there isn't much for pattern paper here, I pulled SO much paper out for this! Not to mention fully redoing the banner part. I started with making this a tiny shaker but there were too many problems with it. I pitched it totally and then came up with this. Behind the heart there's a later of shimmer and glossy accents. After more then 10 photos, I gave up on getting the "perfect" photo to show how pretty that accent was.

The other detail I messed with was the inlaid stitched chevron. I tried a few papers but liked the white on white, with lightly blue inked edges.

And here is the product list and a few sets of dies that I was lucky to create exclusively for CDD!

Simply Said

In Line Dies

Pocket Pieces Hello
Mix It Up Dies

As always, so very glad to have you visit! Take care friends!
