   We are so excited to share this challenge with you today. I had a wonderful time creating this stamp masked scene and loved watercoloring these images! I also double up on the matting cutting my own to match the Fancy Frame dies. I love the layered look!

Fancy Frames    My family just got back from a long weekend away at the beach! So fun! This card is therefore very fitting! But now, just to finish up these last weeks of school before more summer fun! 

Love Lantern ~Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons~

    I'm posting at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons today! I've used one of our newest cutting files and I just fell in love. We have another lantern that I've used a few times so I was totally into this new one...maybe I can do something with all the lanterns? Hmmm. Anyways, check out this file if you've not done so yet, Gnomies.     Even though this new lantern file came with a heart in the center, I added some foam heart stickers and then reinforced that with the embossed background. I really like the details on this card. Kinda simple, kinda not.    Do you know how hard it is to wait for something to dry before you can finish up the project! I almost ruined this so many times trying to see if it was dry enough to add the layers on top! Ha! I know I'm not alone with that! The shine from the Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents over top make this the coolest embellishment!  Here are the files I've used... Love Lantern

I Treasure You
   I'm posting today to share a project for Craftin Desert Divas. I loved this little treasure chest and sentiment combo so I went with that and this nautical feeling card. I used our beloved Fancy Frames dies and then cut some extra layers. Making this one heck of a layered project! 

   I flipped our Stitched Scallop dies to make waves out of vellum (clear vellum over blue paper). With some gold pearls to match the treasure bounty.

   I really wanted to use a mix of images and sentiments so I decided to make a set of lunch box notes. These little cuties would be great for your own kids, or for other kids in your life. I actually think I may box these up and use them for a teacher gift. I enjoyed this so much I may do something like this again. You know you've got a winning project when you want to do it again!

   I loved watercoloring these. The sturdy watercolor backed on printed paper give these a nice weighted feel instead of something flimsy. Good for sure, for a lunch box! Creating these was a breeze using CDD dies! 

   I rarely use only a single stamp set it seems but all this fun came from one set! Yum! LOL!

Ok, I have a couple things to share with you today!
First off, I am crazy for how this card turned out! That little rocket...yep, all
paper pieced! I was at a scrapbooking retreat and the ladies thought I was
crazy (in a good way, I hope!) for putting this little guy together. With all the layers
and details it feels like it's own expensive embellishment!



This is colored with Prisma colored pencils on kraft card stock. Blue distress inked edges
and white acrylic paint splatters. The embossed sentiment is clear powder over colored ink.

My next card is just fun! The bright colors and this whole design reminds

me of the 80's! LOL! Love this new set and the darling sentiment from Magical Wishes.
